2017 entry

News for SQA candidates

We have received SQA results and have made decisions for candidates holding Conditional Firm or Conditional Insurance offers.

Your application status

You can check the status of your application via UCAS Track.

Don't worry if your application status has not yet been updated. Occasionally it takes slightly longer for us to receive some exam results.  If this is the case we will email you and advise that you will receive your decision soon and explain anything you need to do.

Appealing your grades?

If you have missed the conditions of your offer, but are appealing your SQA grades, please read the University policy regarding the provision of results at Confirmation to find out about how this may affect your place at Edinburgh.

If you feel that any special circumstances, such as illness, have affected your exam performance, we encourage you to follow the special circumstances procedures of the relevant exam board. Your school or college will be able to advise you about this.

Contact us

If you need to speak to us about your offer, please call the relevant college admissions office directly.

On Tuesday 8 August, 2017 the offices will be open to take calls between 9 am and 5 pm

As the telephones are likely to be very busy during this period, your patience is greatly appreciated.

Please remember that if you met the terms of your conditional offer your place will be confirmed automatically and you do not need to contact the University to advise us of your grades.
